Young people in the UK don't receive any formal education on politics
And we've recently seen the announcement that 16 and 17 year olds will have the right to vote in 2029
This means that children who are currently 12 will be voting at the next election
So we decided to do something about it...
Introducing the yPolitics School Outreach Programme

Let's make a difference together

The yPolitics School Outreach Programme provides KS3 and KS4 students in the UK with an introduction to UK politics, giving them the key facts they should know in a non-partisan way.

These aren't "lessons" where students are lectured on politics, it's an interactive presentation, and students are encouraged to ask any questions they might have.

Our outreach programme is free to all schools.
(Only available in England, Scot & Wales coming soon)

About Image

Feedback from a trial session we ran last year:

“Jamie engaged the children with his expertise, content and delivery, and through carefully planned discussions was able to involve the students in conversations around politics. Children left understanding more about the political systems in the UK, and thoroughly enjoyed Jamie's session. We recommend Jamie and yPolitics highly”

How can I find out more and organise a session for my school?

Get in contact with us and we can tell you more about how the sessions work and help organise either an Ambassador Session or send you our session pack for a teacher led session.
