Crossword Editor

yPolitics is recruiting a Crossword Editor to produce the Weekend Mini; a mini crossword with a politics twist.

We're launching the mini crossword as a beta for now to test it and get feedback, with the intention of releasing it fully to all members on an ongoing basis.

Role:

1. Produce the mini crossword once a week for publication on the weekend.
2. Potential to publish crosswords more frequently and other games/puzzles.

Eligibility:

1. Current university student (in some instances we will accept recent grads).
2. Creative with a passion for politics and crosswords.

How do I apply?

Email us including 'crossword editor application' in the subject!

If you are current uni student, please use your university email address to apply (you can swap to your personal email later on).

Include:

• A few sentences of background on you
• We'd like you to make a 5x5 mini crossword and send it to us (feel free to just do it on paper and send a photo)

Don't include:

• Cover letter
• CV

If we think you might be a good fit, we will organise a Google Meet to provide some more details on the role, answer any questions you might have and get to know you better (it's not a formal interview, please do not treat it as one).
